He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Whittamore and Mary Ballinger Whittamore Crane; his wife Edna McHone Whittamore; his stepfather Steve Crane; his granddaughter Joy Johnson Ritchey; and his siblings, Jewell Evans, Beulah Brock Willis, Eula Combs, Azlee Whittamore, Bessie Whittamore, Albert Crane and Steve "Speedy" Crane.
He is survived by: his brother J. B. Crane (Jean); his daughter Carolyn Johnson (Emory); his grandchildren, Shane Johnson (Kristi) and Kim Cashin (Alan); his great grandchildren, Cordell, Micah, Raelyn Shayna, Kristopher, Adriana and Kacey; his great great grandchildren, Oaklyn and Memphis; his son Kenny Whittamore (Tammy); his granddaughters, Alyssa and Katie; and his friend Darrell Combs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
