He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Gabbard Short; and his siblings, Geraldine Lowder and Leslie Short. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Mattox (Paul) and Tina Sell (Danny); his siblings, Ray Short, James Short, Wayne Short, Kenneth Short, Keith Short and Della Mae Casteel; and his grandchildren, Robyn Mattox, Christian Sell and Dawson Sell. He is also survived by numerous relatives, friends.
