He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Burns and Roxie Burdine Burns; and his siblings, Steve Hendricks, John Hendricks, Millard Blue Burns, Mary "Cookie" Brinegar and Marie Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Hensley, Josh Eversole, Chris Eversole (Cecillia), JB "Tuffy" Burns, Jr. (Shirley), Timmy Burns, Duane Burns and Scotty Burns; and his siblings, Wiley "Bootsie" Burns, David Burns (Mary Ann), Loraine "Renee" Bicknell (Carl) and Linda Hoover (David Joe). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many friends.
