She was predeceased by: her father William Darby; her husband Delmas Poplin; her son David Lee Sammons; and her siblings, Roger Hilton and Doris Hawkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Sammons Rhorer (Bradley) of Berea; her stepsons, Mike Poplin of Greenup, Kenny Poplin of Greenup, Terry Poplin of Greenup and John Poplin of Greenup; and her grandchildren, Cory Rhorer, Cheyann Hall, Keith Sammons and Amanda Johnson. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
