It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Rene Allen of Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Paul Allen; his brother Benjamin Allen; and his brother-in-law Charles Austin. He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin (Birch) and Allen Nick (Faye Christoforo); his granddaughter Alice Allen; his mother Mary Allen; and his siblings, Peggy Austin, Lapana Jean Bolaski (Larry), Dianna Joy Fussell, Michael P. Allen (Betty), Kenneth Allen (Caryn), Amy C. Arenas, C. Samuel Allen and Christy Gregory (Jaime Harrington). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
To honor Barry's love for his dogs, in lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to be made in his name to Fairy Tails Pet Adoptions, Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic and Kentucky Hopeful Paws.
