He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Powell and Irene Powell; his brother Howard Powell; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Bolen and June Powell.
He is survived by: his spouse Leviathan; his children, Drane (Laura) and Troy (Sherri); his grandchildren, Clayton Powell (Lola), Cayla Thorn (Jimmy), GabrielPowell and Shannon Powell; his great grandchildren, Jacob Thorn, Briley Powell, Lyla Thorn and Emma Powell; and his sister Ina Bolen.
