He was predeceased by: his father Louis Pombert; and his brother David Pombert. He is survived by: his wife Corinne Longwell Pombert; his children, Leslie Benwell of Plymouth, Elizabeth Karas of Argos, Indiana and Charles Pombert of Bloomingdale, Illinois; his grandsons, Timothy Lass and Richard Lass; and his sister Judy Norris of Lady Lake, Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
