He was predeceased by: his mother Carmen Hatfield (Derri Scarlett); and his wife Derri. He is survived by: his father Clarence Hatfield; his children, Benjamin Hatfield (Amanda Hatfield), Sara Hatfield (Jason Suris) and Elizabeth Avila (Manuel Avila); his siblings, Marie Hatfield, Lorie Hatfield, Julie Hatfield and Philip Hatfield; his grandchildren, Ellen Cassel, Olivia Suris, Lionel Avila and Elijah Avila; his close friend Julie Benning; and also Pete. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
