He was predeceased by: his father Robert Sterling; and his sister Shelly Newsome. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Sterling; his children, Jason Sterling of Milwaukee, WI, Micah Sterling of Milwaukee, WI, Krystal Sterling of Atlanta, GA and Renee Thoreaux of Milwaukee, WI; his siblings, Keith Sterling, Neal Sterling, Joel Sterling, Renda Copus and Terri Grant; and his grandchildren, Jordan Sterling, Sesswa Freckmann, Seneca Freckmann, Kashia Ayz and Evelyn Thoreaux.
