We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2023, at the age of 75, Leroy Edward Bess of Benton, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Herron Bess and Adrian Gilbert Bess; his brother Adrian Bess Jr.; his brother-in-law Dan Ray Pemwell; and his son-in-law Eric Lee Rich.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Vought (Dale) of Lee County, AL, Darcy Lee Rich of Mayfield and Wendy Kay Glover (Michael) of Mayfield; his siblings, Robert Bess (Judy), Richard Bess (Delora), Rebecca Milam and Linda Pemwell; his grandchildren, Christopher Kyle Thompson, Dale Robert Vought II, Logan Shane Rich, Laken Seth Rich, Emily Kay Gilford and Allison Mitcham; and his former wife Sarah Jane Bess. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Bess's honor may be made to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospice.
