He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Coleman and Johnny Barber; and his siblings, Sara Woods, Betty Cope, Billy Coleman and Janice Wilkey.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Coleman; his daughter Geraldine Beck; and his sisters, Mary Ann Rives, Joyce Tucker, Helen Sue King and Pam Lucas. He is also survived by five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
