He is survived by: his parents, William Cathey and Eileen Cathey of Benton, KY; his wife Barbara Cathey of Hardin, KY; his sister Tina Lambertson (Maury); his sons, Joel Cathey, Branden Cathey (Dominique) and Joshua Farrar; his stepchildren, Blake Petty (LaShae), Stephanie Forrer (Tim) and Ryan Gann (Nikki); and his nephews, Tyler and Jacob Tomlin. He is also survived by three grandchildren; eight step grandchildren.
