She was predeceased by: her father Charles Peterka; her husband Sam Samson; and her mother Geraldine "Jerri" Peterka. She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri Grogan (Larry) of Michigan, Susan Gregg of Colorado, Lori Smith of Michigan, Bobbi Blackwell of New Jersey and Rebecca Blackwell of Benton, Kentucky; and her sister Judy Peterka (William Barlow) of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Harmony Baptist Church (4817 Symsonia Hwy, Benton, KY 42025). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
