He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Willie and Atta Belle Coursey Willie; and his siblings, Leta Gail Hafer and Joe Paul Willie. He is survived by: his girlfriend Nancy Copeland; his children, David Joseph Willie of Benton, KY, Katie Willie Morris of Benton, KY and Carrie Ann Willie Correa (Luis "Taco") of Ashville, NC; his brother Mike Willie of Bartlett, TN; and his grandchildren, Gretchyn Morris and Gage Morris.
