It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Thomas Geerdes of Benton, Kentucky, born in George, Iowa, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Geerdes and Lucy Willemssen Geerdes; his wife Christine Geerdes; his daughter Mareeka Bachuss; and his siblings, David Geerdes and June Wood.
He is survived by: his daughter Hannah Campbell (Andrew) of Lexington; his son-in-law Chris Bachuss of Franklin, TN; his siblings, Gilbert Geerdes (Carol) of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Grace Hodgson of Davis, CA, Lila Brownell of Eugene, OR and Cindy Barker (Larry) of Hohenwald, TN; and his grandchildren, Amelia, Tenzing Bachuss, Sam and Harper Campbell.
