He was predeceased by: his parents, Loman Bryan and Nancy Luella Byars Dotson of Benton, KY.; and his siblings, Betty Inman (Elvis) and Gary (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Whitmer Dotson; his sons, Jeffrey (Karen) of Boiling Springs and Robert of New Orleans, LA; his grandson Justin; and his sisters, Patricia Bradford (Gerald) of Paducah, KY and Nancy Duren (George) of Benton, KY.. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
