She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Burke and Ann Snead Burke; her husband Rodney Hammond; and her sister Sharon Kelly. She is survived by: her daughter Paula Hammond of Benham, KY; her grandchildren, Nicole and Tyler Hammond of Benham, KY; her siblings, Gene Burke (Cindy) of Lexington and Karen Burke Taylor (John) of Riverside, OH; and her brother-in-law Don Kelly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made directly to Tri city funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
