It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Funk Sr. of Benham, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar and Stella Veselosky Funk; his wife Shirley Lewis Funk; and his siblings, David, Jim, Jesse Funk and Betty Grogan.

He is survived by: his son Charley Funk (Pat) of Lynch; his grandson Chandler Funk of Lynch; his sisters, Georgia Polson, Donna Boggs, Sandra Funk, Edith Funk and Linda Funk; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Funk, Thelma Day and Jenny Pierce.
