She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Shepherd and Mattie Barnett Shepherd; her children, David Charles Day and Sheila Day Goodwin; and her siblings, Herbert, Bent, Hayes (Lisa), Joel Shepherd (Wanda), Doris Whitaker (Jim T.) and Laura Turner (Carl).
She is survived by: her husband J. D. "Charlie" Day; her children, Debbie Estep (David) and James Day (Tammy); her son-in-law Hoagie Goodwin; her grandchildren, Chris, Steven, April, Shane, Hogan and Hunter; and her great grandchildren, Skyler, Grady, Andrew, Abby Cate, Aaron, Lilly and Harlan.
