She was predeceased by: her parents, Doff Tomes and Eileen Tomes; her sons, Gary Dewayne Simpson and Stacy Dale Simpson; and her siblings, Janice Whitaker, Pamela Green, Gaylon Tomes and Jerry Tomes.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Simpson; her sons, Jason Shane Simpson (Deanna Sword) and Aaron Wade Simpson; her grandchildren, Allison Nicole Simpson (Mario Levy), Shane Alec Simpson and Nicholas Keaton Simpson; her great grandchild Easton Kade Simpson; and her sisters, Sandy Fuller (Chester) and Denise Tomes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home (536 Bradford Rd, Beechmont, KY 42326). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Union Ridge Cemetery. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:17 PM at the same location.
