She was predeceased by: her husband Harlan Mayes; her parents, Johnny Cartwright and Laura Cartwright; her son Timmy Mayes; and her siblings, Anna Meryl Cartwright, Shirley Reynolds, Judy Martin, Bettie Cartwright, Billy Cartwright, Darrell Cartwright and Jimmy Cartwright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Mefford (Marvin), Terry Ashley (Johnny) and Tammy Goff (David); her grandchildren, Brock Mefford (Kasey), Jessica Tedders (Breyden), Elizabeth Berry (Chase), Magnum Goff (Stacie), Tristan Goff (Sarah), Bronson Goff (Hope) and Jacob Mayes (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Jase, Mia, Sadie, Hadley, Parker, Kollyns, Baby Mayeson, Reece, Callum and Addy; and her brother Johnny Cartwright (Margaret). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
