He was predeceased by: his daughter Tonya Asher (McCulley); his parents, Martha Waldroup and John T. McCulley; his stepfather Cliff Waldroup; and his siblings, Floyd, Carl, Jimmy, Roger McCulley and Shirley Rice.
He is survived by: his sons, DJ, Carl, John and Christopher McCulley; his siblings, David, Phillip McCulley, Opal Kidd, Jane McCulley and Debbie Danielson (Jeff); his grandson Wayne; and also Christopher Lee Mays. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
