He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Verkamp; and his son David Michael. He is survived by: his children, Linda Kidwell (Lud), Barbara Perry (late Jerry), Mary Dees (Greg), Sharon Smith (Wayne), Ronald and Johnny Verkamp (Marianne). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
