She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Messman; and her great grandchild Waylon Klare. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Klare (Joe) and Debbie Ward (Bill); and her sister Mary Allgeier. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Carmel Manor Nursing Home 100 Carmel Manor Dr. Ft.
