He is survived by: his wife Martha Carmickle of Danville; his children, Barry Wayne Carmickle (Arneda) of Lexington, Jerry Ray Carmickle (Diane) of Elizabethtown, Ronnie Carmickle of Danville and Karen Sue Johnston of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Jason and Lindsay Carmickle.
