She was predeceased by: her parents, Teddy Piper and Erma Piper; her husband William "Bubby" Howell; her son James Howell; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Howell; her daughter Jeanie Stroud; her son-in-law Cody Stroud; and her brother-in-law Retchel Phelps.
She is survived by: her significant other Freeman "Buddy" Vincent; her daughters, Angela Howell (Jeff), Karen Covington (Scott) and Misty Howell (Kenny); and her sisters, Carolyn Phelps and Joyce Sadler (Bobby). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
