He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert James Fesler and Viola Christine Johnson Fesler; his wife Peggy "Judy" Fesler; and his brother Wayne David Fesler. He is survived by: his close friend Faith Slaughter; his sons, John Douglas Fesler (Trina) of Washington and Scott Richard Fesler (Melissa) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Elliott Mason Fesler, Kathryn Gayle Fesler and Terilyn Nikol Fesler; and his brothers, Rev. James Terry Fesler (Linda) of Lebanon, TN and Robert Daniel Fesler (Karen) of Cookeville, TN..
