He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ray" Hunt and Maymie Hunt; his brother Bobby Ray Hunt (Peggy); his parents-in-law, Earl and Nellie Ditzer; and his brother-in-law Jerry Rittenberry.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Jean Ditzer Hunt; his children, Donella Poore and Jimmy "Brian" Hunt (Amy); his grandchildren, Morgan Thompson (Ashley), Aaron Poore (Kirsten), Madison Schnadinger (Mason) and Ethan Hunt; and his sister Beverly Rittenberry. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home (536 Bradford Rd, Beechmont, KY 42326). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 4:38 PM at the Forest Grove Cemetery (2485 KY-70, Browder, KY 42337).
