It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Bruce of Beechmont, Kentucky, born in Greenville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Bruce and Pearl Brown Bruce; and his siblings, Archie Bruce, Don Bruce, Hazel Bobbitt, Alice Sparks, Betty Phillips and Audie Worrell.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Jo Rager Bruce of Beechmont; his children, Penney Bruce Gates and Scott Bruce; his grandchildren, Tayler Gates, Sydney Bruce, Kilee Gates and Madison Bruce; and his sisters, Cherry Brewer and Erie Warner. He is also survived by loving husband, he was an excellent father, who always took care of his children.
