He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Scarbrough and Lona Forgy Scarbrough; the mother of his children Carolyn Scarbrough; and his siblings, James Scarbrough, Elwood Scarbrough, Kenneth Scarbrough, Billy Scarbrough, Francis Cobb, Nadine Bivins and Mary Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Harris (Michael) of Greenville, Brad Scarbrough (Jennifer) of Central City and Chad Scarbrough (Quin'Dee) of Central City; his granddaughter Michaela Harris of Greenville; and his siblings, Bobby Scarbrough (Guyana) of Greenville, Effie Sears (Jerry) of Clifty and Ruby Burns of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
