He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Travis and Lula Travis; and his siblings, Carol High, Gwen Rodriquez, Helen Mullins, Jackline Mullins, Mildred Bowers, Margaret Rowe, Roy Gene Mullins and Walter Travis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wherry Travis; his son Jeff Travis (Beth) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Quinten Travis and Eli Travis; and his siblings, Bernard "Bear" Travis (Geneva), Juanita Cline of Morganfield and Blanche Ferguson of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
