He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Durall Gill; his daughter Tammie Talkington; his sons-in-law, Phil Talkington and Harold Joines; his parents, Ott Gill and Elva Carver Gill; and his siblings, David Gill, Forrest "Buddy" Gill, James Edward "Jay" Gill, Paul Hugh Gill, Lillian Brokaw, Patty Luckett and Dorothy Whitney.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Gill Joines of Coulterville, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Tammie Jebron (Danny) and Chad Talkington; his sisters, Jo Mauzy and Kay Kamuf (Ron); and his great grandchildren, Case Jebron and Meadow Jebron. He is also survived by friends and family and special nieces and nephews.
