He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin M. Goins and Vina Hunt Goins; and his son J. W. Goins. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Duvall Goins; his children, Denis Goins (Rose Mary) of Bee Spring, Dewayne Goins (Tammy) of Bee Spring, Eric Goins (Patty) of Bee Spring and Lavonda Wingfield of Bee Spring; and his brothers, Joe Goins (Marcella) and Charles Goins (Polly). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
