He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Meredith Goff and Hoy Johnson; and his brother Timmie Meredith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Davis Meredith; his children, Michael Shane Meredith (Michelle) of Bee Spring and Dena Pettit (Reggie) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Lance Michael Meredith (Kelly), McKenzie Duvall-Hill (Brandon), Madison Duvall, Chloe Pettit, Maddie Pettit and Summer Chaney; his siblings, Bro. R. L. Meredith, Vickie Marlow, Terry Meredith and Yolanda Vincent (James); and his sister-in-law Donna Meredith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunny Point General Baptist Church (2537-4150 Sunny Point Rd, Brownsville, KY 42210).
