It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Laura Katherine Polley Gerber of Bedford, Kentucky, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Polley and Margaret Maxwell Polley; and her children, Sue Carol Gerber and William Anthony "Tony" Gerber. She is survived by: her husband William Arthur Gerber of Bedford, Kentucky; her daughter Sharai Pender (Trey) of Bedford, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Alexus Kenzie Pender and Sada Lauren Pender (Dylan Chandler); her sister Tina Aubrey of Milton, Kentucky; her nephew Austin Aubrey (Kylie); her great-niece Lisa Danielle Aubrey; her aunt Ruth Maxwell of Bedford, Kentucky; her caregiver Cheryl "Tootie" Stevens of Bedford, Kentucky; and her cousin Wayne (Paula Merrill).
