He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Bacon; his parents, Jerry Moreland and Linda Moreland; his children, Rachel, Eli, Megan and Jacob Moreland; his siblings, Wesley Mertz, Jessica Smith, Tim Elegood and Marcos Mendoza; and his friend Jim Smith.
