He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry T. Bayne and Martha D. Brierly Bayne (Fitzgerald); and his stepparents, Norman Bayne and Thelma Brierly. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Wentworth; his children, Michelle Brierly of Bedford, Melissa Burkhardt (Stacey) of Milton, Kentucky and Dennie Brierly (Jennifer) of Bedford; his siblings, Ira Glenn Brierly of Bedford and Betty Heaton of Milton; his grandchildren, Jessica Stewart (Adam), Jason Vest (Kristen Horton), Ashley Turner (Paul), Anna Brierly, Drew Burkhardt and Zachary Burkhardt; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Addyson, Eden and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Home - Bedford (441 US-42, Bedford, KY 40006). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
