He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Miller and Lena E. Miller (Eskridge); his brother Robert Miller; and his brother-in-law Curtis Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Faye Wentworth Bray; and his children, Melissa Staley (Mike) of Bedford, Crystal Heinz (Andy) of Milton, Kentucky, David Miller (Candice Goens) of Hanover and Joseph Bray of Bedford. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
