He is survived by: his wife Donna Lee Bailey Wheeler of Bedford, Kentucky; his children, Dale Eugene Wheeler (Debbie) of Bedford, Kentucky and Diana Evelyn Wheeler (Andy Rohrbach) of Prospect, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Ashley Katheryn Wheeler Staley of Jacksonville, Florida, Evan Scott Wheeler (Michelle) of Jacksonville, Patrick Wheeler Geoghegan of Chicago and Ryan Thomas Geoghegan of Highland Heights, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Ace Radler Wheeler of Jacksonville, Florida and Blaze Maverick Wheeler of Jacksonville, Florida; his siblings, Doris Wheeler Powell and Douglas Richard Wheeler; his brother-in-law James Allen Bailey (Ginny) of Bedford, Kentucky; and his nieces and nephews, Jill Powell, Jan Powell, Bridget Hamilton (Paul), Scott Bailey, Michael Bailey (Banita) and Jade Wheeler.
