He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Tackett and Magaline Brown Tackett; his spouse Sandy Tackett; and his siblings, Sue Johnson, Sheliah Kidd, Ricky Tackett, Nicky Tackett, Greg Tackett, Dana Tackett and Kevin Tackett.
He is survived by: his sisters, Charlotte Tackett Collins (Joey) of Stanville, Kentucky and Kim Hamilton (Elmer) of Stanville, Kentucky; and his great-nephew Nicholas Thacker (Friends).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
