He was predeceased by: his father William McKinley; his wife Regina Harrison Smith; and his siblings, Donald, Edith, Alvada, Virginia, Edwin, Billy and Ruthie.
He is survived by: his children, Cary Smith (Cyndy) of Owensboro, Milton Smith of Owensboro, Sharon Wright (Bob) of Utica, Marcus Smith (Brenda) of Hartford, Debra Bratcher of Owensboro, Marty Smith (Teresa) of Olaton, Sheila Decker of Owensboro, Anita Hall (Barney) of Fordsville and Melissa Jones (Steve) of Olaton; and his sisters, Martha Alvey of Beaver Dam and Joan Cole of Evansville. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
