He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Whitely (Nathan); his granddaughter Addison Whitely; his brother Arthur Hale (Wanda); his niece Angela Alexander; and his nephew Jason Hale (Trisha). He is also survived by many great nieces and a great nephew.
