He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace English and Louise Basham English; and his sister Sharon English. He is survived by: his wife Rita Davis English; his children, Jeremy Shields of Tell City, IN, Shawn Shields of Tavares, FL and Nikki Cooper (Kevin) of Owensboro, KY; his brother John English (Betty) of Versailles, KY; his grandchildren, Griffin Shields, Porter Shields, Alex Cooper-Phelps (Josh), Steven Cooper and Tyler Cooper; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Taylor, Kevin English, Courtney Havill (Aaron), Christopher English and Katelyn English.
