She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Harper and Lillian Carter Harper; her husband Paul H. Benton; and her siblings, Gene Harper and Annetta Tarrants.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Benton (Connie) of Livermore, Frank Benton (Nancy) of Glasgow, Randall Benton (Gayle) of Hobart, Indiana and Robin McGuire (Barry) of Hebron, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brian Benton (Tammy), Todd Benton (Sara), Joshua Benton (Emily), Hannah Parrish (Chris), Ashley Hensley (Andrew), Jordan Benton, Sydney Benton, Andrew Benton and Matthew Benton; and her brother L. H. Harper (Bettye) of Echols. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
