He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Ann Hillard Phelps; and his daughter Sonya Burden. He is survived by: his father Robert T Phelps (Ruth Ann) of Cromwell; his wife Karen Phelps of Beaver Dam; his daughter April Wilson (Brian) of Beaver Dam; his grandsons, Elijah Wilson and Andres Velasquez; and his sisters, Debbie Horn (Jimmy) of Beaver Dam, Sherry Combs (Earl) of Tennessee and Holly Tichenor (Byron) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
