She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Hassell and Jean Hassell. She is survived by: her husband William J. Brown; her children, Bruce W. Ball, Michael Todd Hassell, B. J. Brown, Jeremy Brown and Brandy Brown; and her sister Sonya Kelly.
