She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel T. Longfellow and Georgia Allen Longfellow; her husband John Floyd Collins; her sisters, Helen Gearheart and Ruby Jean Longfellow; and her nephew Allen Gearheart (JenRay).
She is survived by: her son James Samuel Collins (Judy) of Edmonton, Kentucky; her grandson Thomas "Mack" Collins; and her nieces, Jeannie Gearheart Graham (Tom), Mary Gearheart Gray (David) and Susan Gearheart Plas (Gary). She is also survived by several great nieces, one great nephew, and several great-great nephews.
