He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy L. Southard and Frances Phelps Southard. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Southard; his daughters, Bobbie Jo Fulcher (Robert) and Casie Jo Hopkins; his stepdaughters, Crystal Embry (Anthony) and Natalye Jones (Coty); his grandchildren, Rylie, Beau, Remi Fulcher, Kaylee, Brooke and Skyler Hopkins; his stepgrandchildren, Everett West, Jr., Gabe West, Mark Young-Warren and Nolan Embry; and his brother Donald Southard.
