He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira D. Minton and Virginia Minton; and his siblings, Donald Minton and Ruby Shown. He is survived by: his wife Thelma "Lois" Minton; his children, Charlie Schroader (Laura), Kevin Minton (Kristie), Robert Minton (Beth) and Leah Decker (Jeff) of Beaver Dam; his brother Charles "Peewee" Minton (Dolly) of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Roarke, Abbygail Schroader, Lexy Schroader, Emily Minton, Ruby Minton, Avery Decker, Adaline Decker, Simon Schroader and Isaiah Dean Minton; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn and Christopher Coppage; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Roarke and Hudson Dean Roarke.
Larry was the pastor of Charity Faith Chapel and served as a volunteer prison chaplain at Blackburn Correctional Complex and Greenville Correctional Center.
