He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Rayburn Read and Rosa Nell Brizendine Read; his brothers, Randall Lynn Read, Walter Travis Read and Ronnie Ray Read; and his stepmother Nora Evelyn Read.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hall Read of Beaver Dam; his daughters, Tonya Marie Bradshaw of Beaver Dam and Laura Michelle King (Gabriel) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Shalynn K. Bradshaw, Chelsea Marie Bradshaw, Kaitlin LeAnn King and James Marshall Hunter King; his siblings, Ralph Steve Read (Sally) of Beaver Dam and Carolyn Porter (Walter) of Beaver Dam; and his stepbrother Terry Moore (Edna Lou) of Horse Branch.
